R&M Construction (formerly R & M Carpentry) was established by Russell Miller and Matt Sewell in 2011. Having worked together for four years they decided to combine their experience and create the sort of building company they would employ themselves – honest, trustworthy, quality drive,  and hard working. With a combined experience of nearly forty years they’ve worked on every kind of building project imaginable; from simple domestic projects through to large commercial contracts.

Russell Miller

Russell is approaching 30 years in the building trade having trained as an apprentice carpenter gaining distinctions in advanced carpentry additional to an HNC in Building Studies. He combines his skill as a carpenter with that of site manager meaning you will always be assured of a project that is delivered on time and exactly to your specification.

Outside of work, Russell is a strong family man with a passion for jet skiing.

Matt Sewell

Matt is a real “hands-on” carpenter, who qualified in Advanced Carpentry at college. With over 30 years of experience, Matt has worked on a vast range of projects, working to tight deadlines and budgets. He loves problem solving, making “the impossible, possible”, and has a keen eye for detail.

Outside of work, Matt is also keen family man.
